Jamal St. Hill, also known as ‘Prosper’ has been writing and rapping his lyrics since the age of 11.

Preferring the name ‘Prosper’, he has earned local notoriety by performing live during various local shows through the year and has established a local fan base as his songs are being aired on ZJB Radio, growing more familiar every day.

According to ‘Prosper’, he started receiving major success and recognition after joining the 501 Studio Production and releasing hits like ‘Sugar and Spice Girl’ and ‘Hypocrites’.

One recent achievement for ‘Prosper’ included him claiming third place in a talent search.

With his signature slang, ‘You know its your boy, Prosper’, Prosper reveals that he has been influenced by mega personalities like, Bob Marley, Malcolm X, Tupac, and Biggy Smalls.

He gave emphasis to his unique style of rapping that differentiates him from all the other rappers in the world.

When questioned about his personal pleasures, Prosper says he enjoys reading autobiographies and playing the steel pan. He ultimately aspires to be a business man in the future, with his own studio. With this asset, he plans to assist young people that are musically inclined as well as show an interest in music.
