Natalie says the film is very much in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Week, annual celebrations recently concluded in Montserrat. “It is especially an event to celebrate, as this is thought to be the first local film to have a theatrical release on the big screen here in Montserrat.”

The Irish band makes its way to Montserrat each year by fundraising. According to the Emerald Community Singer’s press release, “The band have fundraised their way to Montserrat with the help of a grant from Culture Ireland. Their music is a mixture of instrumentals, traditional Irish folk songs of the sea, and stories in song of the Irish troubles.”

Lowell Lewis dictated, “May I make it absolutely clear that the concerns expressed by H.E. the Governor and representatives of the British Government were not limited to the conduct of negotiations by Minister Cassell-Sealy with International Pairs. The concerns extended to how the Minister dealt with the matter after she had stopped negotiating.”
